Mobile pain

While organising caterers, venues and committee members this week, I’ve used my mobile phone much more than I ever have — about five or ten minutes a day. This may not sound like much to you phone junkies out there but for someone who doesn’t enjoy talking on phones and is quite money-conscious, that’s plenty.

My head hurts. It didn’t used to hurt when I used the mobile but I must have passed some sort of threshold because using it even for a few seconds causes me to grit my teeth. It’s like a toothache, but further up. Is it my phone? Am I particularly sensitive? Do all people experience the same or do they acclimatise to this after a while?

At this point, I am willing to believe that phone radiation may cause cancer.
